The BlueBridge Smart Projects Limited is a development and management consultancy firm engaged in the provision of strategic consultancy services designed to help private and government clients and businesses of all sizes primarily in Africa, Asia, Middle East and emerging markets. Its services span everything from banking and finance, intelligence and analysis, publishing, trade and investments to environmental issues and renewable energy and beyond. It operates Government-wide, deals at the highest levels and works with countries as they develop proposals for change, then help in their implementation.

We recognise the importance of entrepreneurship and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as the basis for establishing a modern and dynamic economy. The experience among a number of developed countries clearly demonstrates that entrepreneurship and small enterprises can make a substantial contribution to economic growth, employment opportunities and exports. SMEs can also respond flexibly to competitive pressures and adapt quickly to emerging opportunities. Therefore supporting them to succeed has proven to be an effective economic development strategy for an increasing number of countries worldwide. To underscore the importance of this strategy, we have established the Start-Up Nigeria Partnership (SNP) as a decisive collective initiative to unleash Nigeria’s largely untapped entrepreneurial and small enterprise potential, and to revolutionise the culture of entrepreneurship in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The SNP is a place-based innovation program that drives entrepreneurism and 100x growth in SMEs (Small and Medium-sized Enterprises). The Initiative also enhances economic governance by setting clear priorities for the services and public inputs (laws, regulation, and oversight) that the public sector should provide to SMEs – in particular through State Enterprise Development Agencies, but also through education, infrastructure and taxation structure. It complements specific Government  plans to set up Special Economic Zones and incubators, providing guidance on how they could provide fair, targeted and effective assistance.

Its goal is to contribute to the diversification of the Nigerian economy and the sustainability of its growth through the development of a portfolio of SMEs with 100x growth trajectories, radically energized and highly potential business ecosystem and the creation of revenue and employment, in particular among the youth, women and other vulnerable groups.

As part of our strategy for meeting this goal we have forged strong relationships with key national and international players and business support organizations for effective implementation and successful outcomes. Furthermore, we plan to expand and strengthen the SNP’s nationwide programs through the effective use of strategic partnerships with local consulting and development partners in across all of the 36 states of the Federation, including the FCT. Because we know that local partners bring the different perspectives and deep on-the-ground knowledge that facilitate effective development work.

All potential partners must comply with all of the following eligibility criteria.
